They Loved Him Because He Was There
Can’t wait to meet the ladies of Rymal Road Community Church in Hamilton Ontario- dinner and a presentation about all the times God tapped me on the shoulder while I was sitting on the faith fence!
It has been said no one can whistle a symphony, that it takes a whole orchestra to play it. So true, and something I witnessed last night as the WOW Orchestra performed in concert to raise funds for the Deb Pugh Bursary that supports women in need of a spiritual retreat. Women of Wellington Square you ROCKED the house last night! Your generous donations, crazy shopping, and support of this event filled the room with joy – BEST recycle event, ever! Am feeling so blessed to be a part of this rich community that embraces love and joy…
am thrilled to announce Chapters Books on Fairview St. in Burlington have selected Dear Deb for their January book club and invited me to speak about the journey of the letters. EVERYONE is invited to be a part of this special book club next Thursday, Jan 24th, 7 pm in the store – can’t wait! I love meeting readers, hearing their stories and talking about miracles…thank you Chapters Burlington!
What a treat to be interviewed by Moira Brown on 100 Huntley Street – made more special because she knew Deb, a surprise to both of us!
I am honored to be able to share the story of Deb’s letters with Maria Shriver’s readers!
Maria is such a citizen of the world, a mentor and shining example of inspiring people to reach out and give back. She is a journalist and author and recipient of a Peabody Award for public service. As executive producer of The Alzheimer’s Project, she has earned two Emmy Awards and an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences award for developing a “television show with a conscience”. She is also a mom and friend to many.
I feel deeply blessed to be able to be a part of her blog at
Ideas, Inspiration and Information for Architects of Change.
